For several months past, I've been trying to concoct a chili that will induce nightmares. When my girlfriend is away for work, I typically make food in bulk for nourishment during the week. One of my regular products is chili.
My ever first batch of chili was pretty plain. Ground beef, seasoned spicy tomato sauce, chili powder, tomatos, kidney beans, mushrooms. In the second batch, I extended that base chili by adding some black beans and using some taco sauce to give it kick. This resulted in a great tasting chili, but I was still comfortable and un-phased after consumption. Since then I've been searching for something to truly ruin me.
On with the peppers. I've tried numerous peppers from Sobey's and Dominion, but to no avail. They add a slight spiciness aftertaste, but nothing milk can't cut through. Tonight, I tried with the Dominion peppers once more. They are advertied as
red and green, medium to hot chili peppers.. Knowing they aren't at all hot, I added a lot of them. Still nothing.
So this is a plea from me to you. Do you know of a pepper that can destroy Dominion brand chilipeppers? One's that can punch jalapeƱos right in their provitamin A's? Leave me a comment about where to find such a treasure.
