money 101.

Mankind, on the wake of creating artifical intelligence, is in for quite a surprise. When the first robot walks into home depot to get purchase a canister of oil, I'm pretty sure it will go completely and utterly postal when it realizes it has to pay for goods and services using the metal disks we call money. This is the equivalent of waking up tommorow and being forced to pay for a tank of gas using a sack full of severed heads and knee-caps.

Adding a fourth traffic light to the standard green/yellow/red probably wouldn't hurt the situation. I recommend that it be installed, without public notice, mid-night of some random Sunday. I also recommend that Purple would probably yield the best results.
