from the underground
A few hours ago i had the iron-ring ceramony and recieved my iron ring. It went well.. It was pretty ritualistic and cultish I found, but hell, I got my ring out of it. There was a large metal chain drapped around the floor of the room, and we were told not to step inside loops made by the chain. I accidently did when entering, and some people saw me, but nothing came of it. It turns out lots of people goofed up and stepped inside. Woops!
The marks meeting for term 8 is on monday, and we will find out if we passed or failed the term then. I sure hope everyone gets through alright. It would be horrible if you didnt make it and they asked you to return your ring till next year. I'm crossing my fingers (as my digi comm exam was tres-horrible).
My girlfriend gets in today from her workterm. She's all done her 2nd last workterm now. We got 4 days to do some shopping to prepare for cuba, and then it's a week of relaxin' with some fine drinks, cigars, and my girl by my side.
