wow. I just got out of a meeting where i signed up for attending the
iron ring ceramony in april, where i'll get outfitted with a $20 iron ring of engineerness. One cool thing the presenter mentioned was that since the ring is made out of iron, it will scratch and bite into any gold or silver rings that are near it (because iron is a harder material).. this is supposed to remind us to keep our work/responsibility seperate from our money/greed over the course of our lives. Hardcore. I'm going to feed my ring buckets of gold.
After the ring meeting i began to walk home.. but as soon as i left the safety of the campus tunnels i found myself face to face with a terrencial downpour. I bolted home as fast as my pants could carry me. This is the first time I ran a substantial distance since the snow came, so i am amazingly out of breath.. this probably means im out of shape. I will attempt to run more in future scenarios. In the end, running didn't save me either: i'm soaked. I would take a full-body picture of how soaked I am, but I am no longer wearing pants (im free of the tyranny of pants).
Alas, here's the most recent mug shot of me in this universe:

soaked and indifferent (and pantless).
